Aghast!

Really? No bites? No one wants to help a sistah out? You've all read my lack of style in this blog and you are hoping beyond hope that I WON'T ever write anything else, especially a novel???

As Jane says, "pretty, pretty please!" PLEASE submit a plot summary! Do it right now! Make it fast and on the fly and a little (or a lot) silly would be fabulous.

Luvs!

Oooh, I really want to do this, it sounds fun! I thought the post on Shannon Hale's website (love her!) was hilarious. As soon as I get a free second, I will think of some good ones for you! I know, time is ticking.... :)

I was trying to make them shorter, but it's hard! :)
(I hope these make sense...)

In a society where evil people use the carbon from corpses to create precious stones and thereby manufacture wealth and power through murder; Tian must save his family from becoming targets for the ruling classes' jewelry while secretly planning a rebellion.

Mara, a university student, inadvertently witnesses a murder and is thrown into the flashy showbiz world of Las Vegas as a cover for the witness protection program. She and FBI agent Ryan impersonate, beat up, chase, help, and befriend many different crazy Vegas performers while trying to catch the killer.

At 16, Lia is the oldest orphan in the orphanage, so it is up to her to come up with a plan to protect all the younger children when she overhears the director scheming to get rich by selling them to an underground laboratory for dangerous scientific research.

In a modern-day version of Snow White, jealous stepmother Chartreuse is in league with the Mafia and must "get rid of" her popular, beautiful step-daughter Carly as she plans to poison Carly's father and steal his wealth. Carly meets her prince charming, shy I.T. guy Isaac, and together with his unusual friends, convinces him to help her expose Chartreuse's deception and save her father and his computer empire.

In the time of the French Revolution, Aimee is a peasant who, at the risk of her own life, must choose whether or not to aid the kind, wealthy aristocratic family who employed her by helping them escape to England.

Ok, I have to go to bed now, but I'll put up more as I think of them. I'm such a bookworm, but this is so fun! :)

I wrote 4 of them yesterday, but when I look today they're not here. Weird. I can remember 3 of them:

1. Working outside the home for the first time, Barbara must confront her lifelong fear of public restrooms.

2. Grumpy Mr. Wheeler, newly bedridden, discovers the world of blogging and a public eager for his eccentric views.

3. After losing his job and becoming a stay-at-home-dad, Carl cannot hide his deepening depression from his children.

After finding her late Grandmother Lydia's diary, Afton retraces her 1930's European trip to uncover clues about a mysterious missing masterpiece.
