this first pic was taken when Jane was a week old, the morning we left Austin (yes, I left the decorations above her changing table up until the last possible minute).
This picture was taken on her three month birthday, last Friday. This picture doesn't capture how HUGE she has gotten (and I'm not talking about her booty--she's wearing a cloth diaper).
At three months:
- Jane has rolled over several times starting a couple of weeks ago.
- She's pretty much addicted to sucking her hands.
- And she likes to yell a lot. Her voice has evolved from Pterodactyl to Cave Woman, as Eric put it.
- She still hates tummy time-- she's confused, she lifts her legs up instead of her head and ends up pushing her head into the floor, very reminiscent of a beached whale.
- She's decided she does like her swing now and loves to sit and watch me do my stuff while yelling.
- I'm pretty sure she's teething, she drools like, well, like a baby who's teething (yes, my ability to make similes and metaphors is still gone, darn baby-brain).
- And she's starting to be a bit more interested in toys and book. Up until now, she had all the stimulation she could handle between mommy, daddy, and her cousins.
- Still no laughing, but plenty of winning smiles.
Life is good and Baby Boot Camp may finally be over...knock on wood.

Jane is SOOOOOO pretty and cute! Can't believe she is already over 3 months old now. Time sure flies once the baby is born! I know what you mean about "Baby Boot Camp" maybe finally being over... It's nice when they get to an age where both you and baby are getting used to each other and life feels normal.
She is getting so big! What a cute girl. I'm impressed that she's already rolling over-none of that for Tucker. I think it's because I haven't been the best at tummy time with him, but I'm doing better and so is he. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Jane looks lovely. She is getting so long. Jackson loves to roll from side to side so that he can keep an eye on everything around him.
What a darling changing table spot. I bet her poop could even smell sweet while changing it in a spot like that!
Marcee, how did you get to be such a genius? Seriously, I think you are a genius. I should know. I've lived with you!
I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
So wonderful to see her grow! I'm amazed how much my boys have grown in a month and I can't imagine 3. We had a successful Baby Boot Camp night--they only woke up to eat at 12:30 and then started our day at 5. I'll take it!
Keep the pictures coming.
